The Alter Ego brings the wide world of guitar effect pedals to live vocal performances! A professional mic channel strip combined with a flexible relay switched true bypass fx interface loop gives onstage control of the vocal chain back to the vocalist. A stereo headphone output allows a vocalist to experiment with various pedal effects offstage in planning their performance. The Alter Ego can also be used by guitarists to insert modulation and delay pedal effects AFTER mic'ing an amp and before going to the house system. Also, an instrument input allows the Alter Ego to be used as a DI for bass and acoustic guitar applications live and in the studio. A special internal power supply converts a regular 9V negative tip adapter input to a split +/- 15V supply that provides headroom for pro input and output levels. Bi-color LED's provide both function and signal level indications for input and FX return levels. More details soon, view a larger JPG here. |
