Take the Diamond Drive, add a germanium diode, carbon comp resistors
in the signal path, a touch more gain, a bit more edge,
a subtle sparkle finish, and you have the Diamond Drive SE.
More compressed and vintage sounding than the stock DD, but still a very
unique sound with the Warmth control.

- slight revoicing of tone control for more edge

Compression setting: Be sure to try out the different compression settings by setting the switch as described
in the user manual. The DD offers a less compressed, more raw setting as well as more of a classic
overdrive sound with longer sustain. We've found the classic setting works best with Marshall master
volume amps like the JCM800.
