We've received many wonderful emails from guitar players around the world, thank you very much! Here is some of the feedback sent to us at info@diamondpedals.com.

Comments on my Diamond pedals:
I've been using them for a year now on tour and love them. They have stood up
to anything the road can throw at hard working gear. Night after night they have always come
through for me.
J-Drive Mark 3: This is a wonder pedal. If the venue is missing that bite or crunch your amp had the last gig
last night this always brings it back for me. The Clean boost is a great feature. I never have to worry about dead stages anymore
with this pedal. A keeper!
Diamond Halo Chorus: I used a B*** Chorus Ensemble since I bought it new in 1978. I wanted to take it off the
road but I could not find a good replacement. Micheal gave me one of his Diamond Halo Chorus's
to try out and that did the trick. One retired Vintage pedal safe at home.
The Halo is so rich and lush, deep, and quiet.
This is a permanent addition to my pedal board.
Diamond Compressor: I have many guitars that I can use on stage but not all of them have the same output.
This is where I find the Diamond Compressor very handy. I can boost the EQ of the 2nd
guitar to match the 1st guitar level instead of changing amp channels or volumes and tones.
This along with the volume control of the compressor is a great way of matching volumes
and tone with multiple guitars on stage in your rig.
The Comp is very smooth. No breathing unless that's what you want. Another winner!
Diamond Memory Lane: This one will bring back just what it is called. Memories of tape echo's and such.
I've been experimenting with the fast delay and get some great 50's style sounds.
Or some very interesting Jimmy Page vintage '70's Led Zeppelin solo sounds.
I'm still working with this one for live but in the studio it is a joy to use.
More on this as I move towards working it into my stage rig.
The construction of all the Diamond pedals I own is above average. I recommend any of these fine Canadian made pedals!
Thank you Micheal, and everyone at Diamond.
Cheers,
Brian Greenway

Comments on the J-Drive TR:
Just wanted to drop you a line and let you know how much I love this pedal!
I just got back from my weekly blues gig. I play a '61 sg and a '67 super reverb.
This pedal is so versatile. You get 3 sounds out of it (4, if you count the treble boost)
From clean boost to crunchy overdrive to thick overdrive, and a cool Brian May tone
with the treble boost.
After my 1st set I had all these guys asking me:
"what kind of pedal are you using?"
"Your fender amp sounds like a vintage Marshall."
"Awesome tone!"
Let me tell you, you guys are doing great work! I'm so glad I found this pedal. I always
loved the sound of my amp, but I needed to take it over the top without sounding buzzy
or too mid-rangy. The j-drive is truly incredible. Very transparent and quiet. It seems to
enhance the fundamental tone of your amp. I can't say enough good things about it.
I feel like cranking up my amp right now, but it's late, so I'll have to wait 'till
tomorrow.
To you and your team....... Thank you for designing and building such a great product!

Hi,
Today I spent 3 hours in my guitar shop of choice here in Brussels. Basically I was looking for something to boost my UniValve head for more versatility.
From about 15 different high quality pedals I tested, I always got back to the DDrive (#0097), it sounded so natural but at the same time special and interesting, that it made me wanna play and play and play. There is also no one single setting which doesn't sound good.
When I was at home and plugged in with my guitar and my cab, I was in tone heaven !!!
I have a lot of gear, modelers, several tube amps and cabs, and I've been through Rivera, EVH, Soldano, Marshall, Boogie etc... but the combination of the slightly overdriven UniValve pushed badly with your DDrive is the most amazing sound I've ever played. I don't know how you make it, but just don't stop building these fantastic little boxes:)
Cheers
Christoph
Comments on other Diamond Pedals:
From Tony in Evanston, Illinois:
I got one! I ordered it from PedalGeek.com, and I've been messing with it for a couple weeks now. It sounds fantastic! It's exactly what I wanted in a delay - tweakable, vibey analog tone, lots of delay time, high headroom for use in an effects loop, and much better signal integrity than the <blank>. Right on.
From Oliver Oyston, UK:
Hi,
I recieved my compressor (#21) today!
I absolutely love it - it is by far the best compressor that I have used. The increase in quality of my tone is huge, and with the COMP knob around halfway it is subtle enough to leave on all the time. The EQ is great also - a nice touch, and much more user friendly than having separate "bass, mid, treble" knobs.
Thank you very much for designing such a fantastic compressor, and for the great customer service that you (and Taranaki Guitars) provide.
Thanks,
Oliver Oyston
From Juan de Dios Martín, Spain:
About the J-Drive, I'm excited with it. You know when you're younger and suddenly you know a band or a song nobody else knows and you feel special because it seems like it's kind of a secret of yours and you've discovered it? (I hope I expressed myself ok!) That's what I feel with this pedal! It's like having a secret weapon under my feet.
It's very clean and responsive, the separate boost is very helpful and the drive is very nice, and of course the Warmth control is a killer thing! It's a shame I still haven't had the time to play around with this thing longer, but we're going to be good friends on the road...
I only had a couple of rehearsals with the new toy but enough to taste it before going live. It sounds fine whatever the settings are, not a thing that you can say about many pedals... I'm a big fan of the "almost driven" sound, and this one gives a broad palette of "useable" overdrive, just in the right spot. (you know those ones that only sound nice in a narrow range, and settings on the rest of the pot length are useless) I like it much better than the overdrive channel on my Engl tube amp, and it's nice because I no longer have to have a channel switch hanging around for the amp. The rest of the band say my tone is quite improved with the pedal. As I said before I'd like to have more time to fiddle with it, but for now it's already my main tool for tone. I leave it on almost all the time.
Finally we had our first gig yesterday and it behave like it was supposed to. This baby sounds nice with whatever you stick at it, my Gretsch DuoJet with custom wound Seymour Duncan Pickups, my 50th Anniversary Fender Stratocaster and my Tom Petty Limited Edition Rickenbacker 12-String. It's nice to have boost and drive together, because you can turn them on and off together on a single stomp. Playing with it is a joy. I found a 10-10-10-12 o'clock setting to start with, compressor off, that it's quite nice. A friend of mine (a known guitar player in Spain) attended to the show and was blown away when I told him all drive was coming from "that blue box over there". He described the sound as clean but distorted at the same time, he could hear every note when I strummed a chord, very detailed yet powerful.
We start summer gig on friday and this is going to be a nice working year (We're playing festivals with Oasis, Nick Cave and things the like), and I'm starting to set things up to start recording my second solo album. I know more people will get interested as soon as they hear it. I also want to put up a website with details of my rig (I'm building a pedalboard the size of a door...) and I'll sure be featuring it. I'll let you know.
Plus, if you need anything in Spain, count me in :)
Thanks for the pedal!!
Best regards,
Juande

From Marc George in Nfld, Canada:
Hi again Mike,
I bought the Fireburst a couple of weeks ago and have been able to spend
quite a bit of time with it. I've got to say, it sounds awesome! I can't
stop playing! Finally, a pedal that makes me want to play with the guitar
more than the pedal! I can get great sounds no matter how the pedal is set.
Anyways, keep up the good work and keep 'em coming!
Marc
